Gmail – Organize Your Emails in Your Inbox
October 18, 2021Gmail is a free e-mail service offered by Google. As of 2021, it has 1.5 billion monthly active users around the globe. A typical user uses Gmail either in the browser or the official cellular app or an online account. Google also supports the usage of other email clients through the POP and IMAP methods. Gmail can be accessed with any version of Outlook Express.
A Gmail account can be accessed from any computer or mobile device. This means that if you have an old laptop that doesn’t have a data drive or if you are traveling, you can still access your Gmail account. Once you are signed up, you will see a wide range of features and functionalities. You will have access to your Inbox, which contains all your emails. You can organize all your emails into different folders and groups. This means that you can organize all your important emails and personal messages into two separate folders so that you can access or delete them as you need them.
An Inbox will also contain your spam mail. The spam folder in your Gmail account will only send you emails that are deemed spam. For example, if there are emails from your Gmail account’s unread or bulk folder that you haven’t opened in a while, chances are, these are considered as spam mails. You can delete these messages and prevent others from accessing them through the spam folder in your gmail account.
Another great feature of Gmail is the Drafts feature. With this feature, you can mark a piece of information as draft so you can easily save and make changes to the same before sending it to others. Gmail can send you new drafts and email attachments while you are in the Drafts area. You can view and edit your drafts through the main navigation of the Inbox so you always have an idea on what to write or ask for changes to your digital messages.
Lastly, you can use your Google account as a password for your Inbox. You can create your own gmail password so you can ensure that only people who are authorized can receive emails from your gmail account like your gmail address, your gmail contact’s address or any other valid email address. This makes your personal life and your professional life easier since you won’t have to give out your gmail address to everyone who doesn’t deserve it.
You can organize all your emails in the Inbox and search for the emails you need with ease. If you’re an internet marketer or a blogger, chances are, you receive dozens or even hundreds of emails on a daily basis. It would take you forever just to find one important email. Thanks to the gmail interface, all you need to do to find emails is to highlight them or right-click on them and see the options available for you to choose from. You can organize all the emails in your inbox into folders or archives and even mark them as unread or junk emails to help you stay organized with your daily emails.
